How We Build

There's a philosophy in enterprise software called "Forward Deployed Engineering"—the idea that you can't really understand what a customer needs from a distance. You have to embed with them, own the outcomes, and be willing to tell them "no" when they're heading in the wrong direction.

We think about our work similarly. We're not here to deliver scope or bill hours. We're here to help you figure out what actually works, which sometimes means telling you that something you were excited about isn't worth pursuing.

We borrowed a phrase from NASA mission control: "Work the problem." For us it means: focus on what's actually broken. Don't get distracted by what's interesting or impressive. Figure out what would make a real difference, then work backwards to whether AI helps with that.

Who We Are

We spun out of Learnerbly, the workplace learning marketplace. That means we've spent years in HR tech, working alongside People teams who are drowning in fragmented data and endless admin.
